Sri Ramanuja Charitable Trust

Sri Ramanuja Charitable Trust helps interested students receive educational help that they are otherwise unable to afford due to economic reasons.

On weekends at the campus of Vellore Thandhai Periyar College, courses in mobile phone service and graphic designing are offered. At Perambur, Chennai, the Trust runs an establishment called the Excellent Institute of Engineering Technology which offers very nominally priced training programs.

The trust also offers courses in graphics, videography and spoken English.

10th and 12th class students get special video-sessions with other high-performing students.

The Trust has established a school called Prahalada children's school that has 12 special training schools named after the 12 Azhwars sacred to the Vaishnavite tradition.

This year, the trust is sponsoring the educational expenses of a girl student from Madhavaram corporation school.

Amidst an increasingly commercial educational environment, Sri Ramanuja Charitable Trust, run by Mr. Sadagopa Ramanujadasan, rekindles hope for the educational future of poor children in Perambur.
